Starbucks addicts are everywhere, and some people would rather not admit their obsession. Perhaps you too.

I speak from experience, of course. I am obsessed with Starbucks and have no plans of ceasing my indulgences.

See if you are guilty of any of the following. Note: I am guilty of nos. 1, 2, 5, and 7 at least.

These are the 10 signs you are addicted to Starbucks.

10 Signs You Are Addicted to Starbucks

  1. You carry a Starbucks food menu brochure with you in your handbag everywhere you go. You sit at work or at home going over the menu and contemplating what you will try eating there next.

  2. You've gone to Starbucks three times in the same day. You will tell yourself you were busy, worked 12 hours, or you had to get out of the harsh weather outside. Either way, you have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there in the same 24-hour cycle.

  3. You've noticed at least 10% of your salary goes to Starbucks somehow. Fraps, turkey sandwiches, lattes, caramel machiattos, etc. It's all worth it though.

  4. You have gotten into an argument at a Starbucks because all the outlets for laptops were already taken or someone was talking too loud for too long.

  5. The default meeting location for you and your friends is your local Starbucks.

  6. You are upset that the Starbucks Duetto Visa credit card is no longer available. If you are going to go into debt, you would rather it be at the stylish local Starbucks.

  7. You can note the taste differences in Starbucks baked goods from country to country when you travel.

  8. You met your boyfriend or girlfriend at a Starbucks. If you've broken up, there is awkwardness as to whether you should go back there or not. You don't want to ruin your great love at Starbucks memories.

  9. You have gotten a frapuccino for breakfast every day for at least two weeks.

  10. You've gotten a part-time job there so you can live your life at Starbucks as much as possible. If you haven't done this, then you have at least seriously contemplated working there.
